The Holiday Dog Lounge
We would love to welcome your dog to our home for their holiday.
While you are away your dog can enjoy their own space in our dog lounge, they can pack their bags and bring their own toys and beds or enjoy one or more of our doggie beds, there’s a chair they can curl up on and watch the rabbits playing in the garden. The garden is dog friendly and the dog areas are either tiled or lino for easy maintenance. The lounge has a fresh supply of drinking water and food of their choice (food not supplied).
Twice a day they will be actively encouraged to join the exercise walk in our local country side; they will be walked safely on an extendable lead, unless written permission is received from their owners to be walked off their lead. Our garden is completely enclosed and our guests are welcome to spend time playing, sunbathing or sniffing as long as they respect the space of our other guests (rabbits and guinea pigs).
During the day and evening they will be encouraged to share in family life around the home. Bedtime follows their own bed time routine (we have a selection of crates if your dog is happier sleeping in a crate).
We like to follow as closely as possible their home routines so that you come home to a happy and relaxed dog. We care for any dog big or small, they will be welcomed and loved for as long as they are in our care (sorry we can’t take bitches in season and we do not usually take intact males). (We are licensed by Winchester City Council to take two dogs boarded from the same home). Food and treats to be supplied by owner.
Medication given, bedding, food bowls, towels, raised feeding station, extra large crate available at no further cost. Boarding costs include two 20 minute walks per day. You are very welcome to bring bedding bowls and toys but no wicker baskets please.
Our grooming service (we have a DEDICATED GROOMING ROOM -
All dogs must have current vaccination documentation and have been treated for worms and fleas. Kennel cough is strongly advised (our own pets are vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas).
We are open to boarders over bank holidays.
